Well, I had second thoughts about my comment re Los Angeles. I visited Louisiana recently for a fishing trip. Yea, the marsh stinks of oil and gas extraction, plus the dead zone in the Gulf from the Mississippi, and all the unmarked nav hazards from underwater pipes that will rip a lower unit off if not the whole transom depending on speed and tide. Those I met while there just deny the dead zone exists. There is a lot I don't understand about the residents of that state. Those Cajuns are a different breed. Mike, I think working for the gov corrupts faster than any other work place there is. I'm reminded of a guy I went to school with. he went to work for the state, dept of wts and measures. he worked his way up to second in command in his dept. his boss took a long leave. Marc ( french spelling) said, "I have to spend my first two hours getting all of my bosses work done before I do my own" I said, you know marc, I always wondered what a actual work day was for a state worker.
