Quite the contrast to Trump failing to concede when he lost and then attempting to steal the election don't you think?

The Founders could also never envision all the bullshit shenanigans pulled today by the activist NGOs and would have never gone for mail-in ballots. They didn’t even like non-productive people even having a vote.

Imagine asking Thomas Jefferson what he would think of Stacey Abrams NGO pulling into a section 8 housing complex with a stack of blank ballots and cases of sloe gin and cartons of cigarettes and then the NGO delivering those ballots to drop boxes.

He would think we were f***ing NUTS!

Does the fact that the man’s Vice President and only 4 of 44 of his former Cabinet members consider the man fit for the office even give the Trumplicans a little pause?

You failed to answer my question, do you see a contrast between Trump's actions and those of Washington in regards to holding onto power?

We were not talking about Stacey Abrahams or NGO's.

Steve,
To answer that question…you have to put Washington in the context of today’s BS.

Quite honestly…he would probably stay the hell away from politics altogether.

I am not sure how he would feel about the 2020 election. It was a mockery.

I learned everything I needed to know when I watched the footage of the Helsinki conference. Trump and Putin had a brief private meeting, and when they emerged Putin’s ownership of Trump was blatantly obvious.

You didn’t need to be an expert in body language to see it - a cocky, confident Putin with his ‘viper smile’ and a defeated, slump shouldered Trump trudging along like a whipped dog. Even when they sat side by side, the utter defeat on Trumps face and in his demeanour was unmistakable.

When Trump got home, the Putin-dictated rhetoric began. Negative on Ukraine, negative on NATO, positive on anything related to Putin. I’m pretty sure he was given a quick review of the compromat, and probably a hard look at how much money he owes Putin.

I’m absolutely convinced that Putin owns Trump, and Trump has used the same methods at MaraLago to ‘own’ a good number of senators and congressmen. There’s no other explanation for the 180 degree reversals of vermin like
Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz.

Putin owns Russia, and a very envious Trump wants to own the U.S. in kind. If you want a world divided in ownership between Trump, Putin and Xi, then I guess that’s the dystopian future you have the power to create - or prevent.

Yes, Biden is a stodgy old fart and he should have stepped away years ago, but he’s nowhere nearly as dangerous to the future of planet earth as Trump.

Review the footage from Helsinki, it’s all right there in front of you.

Our courts ruled on the matter. Many, many Trump appointed judges ruled on the matter. It was consistently found that Trump's claims of election irregularities were unfounded. The dodgy thing about the 2020 election was Trump's behavior, as well as that of his enablers. You are trying to defend the indefensible, the attempted theft of a Presidential election. Behavior that is far, far beyond the pale.

Trump's policies, especially his foreign policy sucked too. Add that to him be a despicable human and the only POTUS in my lifetime to cozy up to dictators and despots, I have plenty of reasons not to vote for Trump.

We don't even need to touch on the fact that he is a lying, cheating fraud.

The dodgy thing about the 2020 election

There were many dodgy things about the 2020 election. It defied norms in numerous ways. It was a statistical outlier from the data over the last few decades.

The thing about courts and elections are that the timeline doesn’t allow for effective challenges. Much has been written on this subject.

Continue to tell yourself that 2020 was kosher…it will be to the country’s peril.

As an aside…I highly suspect Trump will oust Biden this year so the point will be moot.

Actually, no, continuing to repeat the lie that "Trump won" is to the detriment of the country.

Anyone who supports our Democratic ideals should be able to see that.

Trump lost, he should have conceded and failed to do so, he then tried to steal the election by any means possible. That you would go through the mental gymnastics that you do in an attempt to legitimize this behavior speaks volumes. Behavior that was far, far beyond the pale. Totally and completely indefensible.

More of that unbiased media right?

Joe Rogan is not a news source but an entertainer with an agenda. It is a shame that adults are unable to differentiate between the two.

As for Joe Rogan's politics, not far off of Tulsi if you ask me, Trumpers because they can profit from it.

I have had my eyes open since long before 2020. Trump is the single worst thing to happen to American politics in my lifetime. Reagan is literally spinning in his grave watching Trump kiss Putin's ass. Disgusting....

And then we have Trump's attempt to steal 2020....I do not think the GOP could possibly nominate a more flawed candidate....and his policies suck too!

No, Reagan disliked Trump immensely, he would not have supported him, as his family has stated repeatedly.

It is Russia and China if you have been paying attention and the House GOP is doing its damn well best to help Russia win in ukraine. Absolutely shocking as a Gen x'er who grew up watching the GOP confront communism. Republican capitulation under Trump's influence is not only disgusting, it is embarrassing as an American.

Reagan disliked Trump for a reason, because Reagan could spot a charlatan when he saw one.

No way Reagan would support a POTUS groveling to Putin.....would never happen in a million years.

That wall did not come down on its own, and it was not brought down by an American foreign policy which ceded world leadership to the communists.

Trump has turned his back on everything Reagan stood for.

I can’t begin to count how many times I’ve seen people post that “all they wanted was a POTUS who respects the Constitution “.

Then they come up with Trump, who essentially wipes his ass with the Constitution and they swear up and down he’s sent by God.

I swear, there’s some kind of brain eating virus loose out there. These Trumpites have totally surrendered their minds to their cult leader. I spent decades studying the Third Reich and speculating how a society could allow that to germinate. Now I’m seeing it first hand, and I still can’t comprehend it.

Your Putin BS is played out. Putin feared Trump, badly. Xi feared him as well. He was so concerned he was a madman that his Sec Def. was in contact with ours. How about NK?

The left has tried and tried to make "Russia Russia Russia" stick far to long. American's aren't buying it anymore.

Biden completely has fuck the world up, but...It's ll part of their plan. If you would listen to JRE's guest, not Joe, you might just figure some things out.

And to your point about "credible news source", can you please name one? I cannot, either side.

Fact???

You wrote that.

It's not that Reagan may or may not be a Trump supporter. That's debatable, but I doubt it.

The FACT that you stated it as a fact, is telling, even with the wink Wink .

The GOP today is NOT the party of Lincoln nor Reagan, although Reagan started the slippery slope.

There is no way to "study" Reagan in an unbiased way.

The guy was far more articulate, principled, sensible, benevolent, likable, genuine, etc. than Trump.

I think Reagan would be appalled and embarrassed at the spectacle of Trump, and especially due to the behavior of congressional GOPers, those kowtowing. I think he would be proud of those who have stood up to Trump, based on their morals, ethics, principles. Even though the cost is evident, those are the republicans who are the real heroes and patriots.
