Leviticus: according to Charlie, God's perfect law regarding sexuality.

Calls for stoning gays.

I am aware of what the Bible has to say. Wink

So for the record…

1) Does quoting an chapter and verse out of the Bible qualify as “advocating for the stoning of gays.”

2) Is Stephen King’s post acceptable?

BTW…I vote to protect his rights to say it. I am not advocating suppressing him. But I am for calling him out as a POS and seeing the left for what they really are with their lying evil rhetoric.

1) if you are quoting Leviticus as the perfect law regarding sexuality then yes, you are advocating for the stoning of gays.

2) I thought that you were a free speech absolutist like Musk? Isn't King just pointing out what Kirk's views were?

Credit where credit is due and all. Charlie said some horrible things, he should not have died for it, that does not make his views right or noting them off limits.

Pick and choose which stupid idiot you quote!

Both the left and right wing idiots are the cause of this intolerance!

When you get a president who supports a violent coup, and a governor who offers bribes to report your neighbors having an abortion, you know there is no hope!

Can you imagine this sorry excuse of the human race being America’s ruler??

Not at all! As Jesus clarifies this in John 8:7. The Bible must be understood in full.

2) I thought that you were a free speech absolutist like Musk? Isn't King just pointing out what Kirk's views were?

Did you not read my last paragraph above? I defend his right to say. But he is just a horrible person for doing it.

Credit where credit is due and all. Charlie said some horrible things,

Charlie Kirk did NOT say horrible things. I challenge you to post a direct quote of an example.

Public discourse and news reports describe several controversial comments and statements by Charlie Kirk as hate speech. Critics cite numerous quotes related to race, gender, sexuality, and other topics, particularly those from his radio show and Turning Point USA events.
Quotes and comments cited by critics as hate speech include remarks on race, transgender identity, religion, sexuality, and gun violence.
On race: Critics have cited comments where Kirk expressed skepticism about the qualifications of a Black pilot, claimed "prowling Blacks" target white people, and referred to prominent Black women as "affirmative action picks" lacking in "brain processing power".
On transgender people: He has been criticized for comparing transgender identity to "Black face" and calling transgender people an "abomination".
On religion and sexuality: Kirk has referenced biblical scripture in controversial ways, including stating that God "calls for the stoning of gay people" and misquoting scripture to support anti-gay views.
On gun violence: At a Turning Point USA event, he suggested that the Second Amendment is worth "a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year". Following his death in 2025, his past comments on gun violence were widely discussed.
Other controversial comments: Other controversial statements cited include his view that retirement is not biblical and a "waste of the gifts that God has given you," and a social media post claiming "Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America".

Easy enough to see Lane.

Charlie Kirk, the far-right commentator and ally of Donald Trump, was killed on Wednesday doing what he was known for throughout his career – making incendiary and often racist and sexist comments to large audiences.

If it was current and controversial in US politics, chances are that Kirk was talking about it. On his podcasts, and on the podcasts of friends and adversaries, and especially on college campuses, where he would go to debate students, Kirk spent much of his adult life defending and articulating a worldview aligned with Trump and the Maga movement. Accountable to no one but his audience, he did not shy away in his rhetoric from bigotry, intolerance, exclusion and stereotyping.

Here’s Kirk, in his own words. Many of his comments were documented by Media Matters for America, a progressive non-profit that tracks conservative media.

If I’m dealing with somebody in customer service who’s a moronic Black woman, I wonder is she there because of her excellence, or is she there because affirmative action?

If we would have said that Joy Reid and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee and Ketanji Brown Jackson were affirmative action picks, we would have been called racists. Now they’re coming out and they’re saying it for us … You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person’s slot to go be taken somewhat seriously.

We record all of it so that we put [it] on the internet so people can see these ideas collide. When people stop talking, that’s when you get violence. That’s when civil war happens, because you start to think the other side is so evil, and they lose their humanity.

Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America.

Most of that is just the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts. Doesn’t make it hate.

The rest is just woke spin.

I see you took the safety net and did not post an example of an actual quote in context.

Charlie was a disciple of Jesus. No hate ever crossed his lips.

We will have to agree to disagree.

You can keep your religion.

The fact that you and much of the right want to force it upon the rest of us is a big part of the division in America today.

You asked for direct quotes and got them, seems you don't like them, those are his hate filled words.

Telling Taylor Swift that she needs to submit to her future husband? Bat shit crazy.....

show and tell where is no hate and only message of love.

that doesnt make him killable for sure but not likeable either. and making him a martyr/hero for his actions and speeches will not help the divisions in your country for sure.

You are a liar and a propagandist for propagating that false list. You are part of problem medved!

There is NO direct quote of him advocating for the stoning of gays…face it…that IS a lie.

Kirk didn't deserve to be killed for his views, vile and hateful as some of them were. There is NO justification for shooting a man down like a dog in front of his family.

But trying to use SK's words--which he's since walked back and apologized for--to blame the left is a fallacy.

Better look for some other example if you want to create a myth and a rightwing tribe of victims.

The killer didn't act for me, and I won't be blamed for my opposition to the Trump administration or curtail that opposition because some murderous nut downed Kirk.

No bigots…just normal good folks.

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

If you don't believe in gay marriage, don't enter into one yourself.

Where do "good folks" in Gainseville have the right to deny others their constitutional rights?

A good person in your mind. To me he was a misogynist, racist, a white supremacist who casually dismissed the suffering of people he didn't like, & lacked empathy. Not my idea of a "good man". I don't support what happened to Charlie Kirk.... Charlie Kirk supported what happened to Charlie Kirk..in his own words. A few gun deaths are worth it.

"No idea what you have unleashed': Charlie Kirk’s wife delivers first public address".

If that statement is anything to go by, we shall see what the future will bring.

Kirk didn't deserve to be killed for his views, vile and hateful as some of them were.

Charlie was one of the most decent God fearing individuals to inhabit the earth today. Charlie offered NO hate and “vile” is 180° opposite of his personality. He was the real deal. He walked the walk and paid for it with his life. I believe a giant has been awakened.

I consider vocal opposition to gay marriage vile and contrary to true American values because it advocates denial of equal rights to a minority group.

I'm under the impression northern Idaho has similar views.

Amongst Charlie's closest friends were Brandon Tatum, Candace Owens, Anthony Brian Logan,
Jesse Lee Peterson, Larry Elder and Allen West just off the top of my head.

Charlie Kirk refused to platform Nick Fuentes.

Foisting your uninformed and uneducated opinion, Wymple, just makes you look foolish.

You have a point--and perhaps about the majority--but it's not ninety percent bigots here.
