Maybe you don't know about a feature in this forum.

If you highlight a section in a previous post, then simply click on "reply", the highlighted part appears in your new post as seen above.

It's by design, and it's quick. And most importantly the only way it can be a misquote is to leave out part of it, or edit it to change or add the words.

It works best when it immediately follows, and it enables the previous quoted parts to be left out, reducing distraction from the specific point arguable.

Otherwise, the whole post has to be quoted, the distracting parts deleted with edit.

I plan on using the features embedded in the forum whether you approve or not. It's handy and allows the name calling and other distractions to be omitted in the quoted part, to get to exactly the part I want to argue about.
