I'm not sure what exactly a SOTU speech is supposed to address, but this one sounded more like a political speech than actually addressing the state of the union, which is not that good at the moment. I'm not sure we're a union at all anymore.

President Biden did a very good job. The MAGA House looks like buffoons.

When you deny people the same rights and privileges in the public sphere that you enjoy, you make them non-citizens. I cannot and will not call the whole game evil. When you would force their children to pray to your God, the way you say a pray must be said, you make them non-citizens. I can call their figure head evil for trying to remain in power against the design and intent of the Constitution. When you would rather women or a class not be allowed to vote because it means you are less likely to win elections, I can call you such as the GOP nominee for the Governorship of North Carolina I can call political opposition. Those who actively engage in leading folks down this path such as Greene, I can a political disease. I can call the Mitch McConnells of the world who lend Legitimacy to this Wing by endorsing President Trump political cowards.

Greene looked like a cartoon. She did not have the basic human respect to remove her stupid hat. I am surprised no one took it off her, or made her leave.

I wish the next President would not even give a State of the Union Address to both chambers. The level of disrespect since George W Bush by both parties depending on who holds the office is deplorable.

I skipped the SOTU. I did catch a few snippets of the response. Seemed like the women was doing more of an audition for a daily soap opera drama than a major party response to the SOTU. Whoever coached her on hand movements and facial movements needs to be taken out and beaten with a club.

No one watched the SOTU address to hear substance. No one watched the SOTU to learn about issues. Folks watched the SOTU this year to see if Biden would fall on his face. Similarly anyone that watched the GOP response that is being objective would have to concede that the woman doing the response flopped. I thought the gunfight at the end of Open Range was one of the best I've ever seen. When Costner says "You the one who shot our friend?" and then drops that guy with a shot to the forehead...epic.
