The Tour de France coverage on the cycling channel is wonderful, as usual--- great views of the French countryside from the helicopters.

The only sporting event my wife will watch is the Tour. She absolutely loves it, as I do! It's incredible to me what those guys go through and the level of fitness that they've attained. IMHO Lance is maybe the most gifted athlete of our time---he's an animal!

Anyway, now that we know he's serious about winning my wife looked at me last night and suggested a last minute trip to France to watch some of the last legs of the race . Now I'm checking last minute airfare deals!! Drinking gobs of great French wine and standing on the side of the road with a bunch of lunatics screaming our heads off---sounds like good fun
