As I approach the last quarter of my time, and with no heirs who have an interest, is there a good way to pass my taxidermy on?

SWM

There are outfits whose names escape that will buy your whole collection. Sure you'll get pennies on the dollar but you'll be rid of them. Do a Google for taxidermy buyers.

thank you. I should have thought of Lolli Bros. I've bought/sold several horses at their auctions over the years.

Taxidermy has very little monetary value. The Auction houses can sell the mounts but you won't get much for them. It probably won't be worth the trouble to ship or take them to the auction house.

Western Sportsman in Ft Worth hold an auction every 3 months. Shoulder mounts bring $100-$400 depending on the mount. (Look up proxibid auctions)

Polar Bears and cool stuff like that bring more, but don't expect too much.

I have one fish mount.

Before I realized they tend to become close to worthless.

Do you have a local pub, restaurant, or gun shop you like to frequent that might appreciate some decorations?
