Guys, I guy I know has a polar bear for sale mounted standing not perfect but good shape. Located in IL. What is it worth? Is it even legal to sell? Any info would be helpful. Trust me it's not mine, I would never sell one of mine. Thanks NRA LIFE MEMBER DU DIAMOND SPONSOR IN PERPETUITY DALLAS SAFARI CLUB LIFE MEMBER SCI FOUNDATION MEMBER | ||

Jeff, Tell him to take it off the market immediately! It's illegal to sell them (unless taken prior to 1972). His best bet would be to donate it to a non-profit or to the USFWS for a tax deduction, but he'll get into some serious trouble if he sells it. Same goes for brown bears from AK. Hope this helps!
