I've seen this mount in person and I regard it as the best lifesize Bongo I've ever seen. The stitching is top shelf and the mount truly is incredible. I was at the world where this placed 3rd. Someone missed on this one but the competition is extreme. Dennis's Moose/wolves mount placed 2nd but garnered a new Presidents award never given before.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

WHen you say it took 3rd does that mean it was the 3rd best mount in the competition or that it scored high enough for a 3rd place award? I know in a lot of taxidermy competition multiple people can get 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.

Regardless it' a beautifull mount!
