Mary, I've seen some coyotes with some gorgeous markings (none as nice as this one though) in areas where dogs simply aren't found too easily. We thought coydog because the muzzle was shorter, there were a few white toenails and the German Shepard looking black markings on the front of the legs. As Jerry stated, we will never know. Ann, you have a PM coming your way. Just finished stretching your skins today. Taxidermist/Rugmaker | |||

the body looks 100 % coyote. The ears seem a bit short, and the legs almost look like he has some Red Fox in him. But I agree. Absolutely beautiful mount. | |||
