I thought I'd post a few by a good friend and amazing taxidermist Dean Schulte with High Uintahs taxidermy up in Utah (www.deansart.com). Dean's leopards have progressively gotten better over the time I've known him, and there's no doubt I'll be sending him my cat should I get one on my Zimbabwe trip next July. Let me know what you guys think, I personally like the way the top leopard is mounted, but his action mounts are amazing as well.

i love the ear position on the first one. lots of leopard mounts have the ears alert, but relaxed looks so much more natural. very nice!

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

I agree, I like that natural look. I am on the fence about that or an action pose, but I will probably cross that hurdle when I actually get a cat in the salt Wink I find that picking out a mount before you have even killed an animal is the best way to jinx yourself!

Those are great mounts. I really also like the face of the one with the bushbuck BUT to my mind it does not go with the action of the animal.
