Is this the thanks we get for giving amnesty and letting people come home from Canada? [Confused]

500 grains. Let's see, there was Col. Townsend Whelen, Maj. Gen. Julian Hatcher, just two well known firearms experts that I can think of off the top of my head. So if Craig uses Col., or Gen. if he is finally confirmed in the Senate, and if he wants to use the title, then he's in good, nay great company. If he prefers that the title not be used, this is also his privilege, and who are we to say otherwise?
I'll be the first to admit that he's not one of my favorite writers, but it has to do with style, not content. I'll still read his stuff. FWIW, he did a great article on the .358 Win. a while back in Riflehooter. maybe, if we're lucky, he'll do one on the .35 Whelen as well. Both are very ignored rounds by the gun rags, and frankly, I'd like to see more on them.

LV Eric, I agree. I have been gone 3 weeks hunting and other pursuits and can't believe this shit is still going on!

Craig wants to be called Craig!! He does not wear his uniform all day every day and that is the way he is about it. He is a guy like the rest of us, loves guns, hunting etc and a lot of fun in hunting camp.

Mickey1 scores an X with the first shot from a cold barrel!

Now, THAT is shooting.

Good one, Mickey1. I could have saved myself from rushing into a hasty and disastrous marriage, avoided a couple of nasty wounds and just a whole lot of misery, terror and pain if I had only known that amnesty would be offered....

Welcome General Boddington. I have read pretty much everything you have ever written and enjoyed every bit of it. At times I have disagreed with some things you have written but for the most part I agree with your viewpoints. We need the breadth of experience someone like yourself can contribute to this site.

We all know why the Craigster is selling off his 7mm... it is to create more space for his 8mm Rem Mag.
Craig, please don't get offended and leave us.
On the internet there are a lot of people who know a hell of alot about hunting, but haven't left their computer in a year. They claim to have done this and that, or they have watched a few videos and read a few books. They think they know everything.
Then, we get someone who actually is an accomplished hunter, writer, and is a ranking officer in the Marines, and well, people disrespect him.

Craig, please, many of us DO enjoy what you write. I dream of hunting in places you have.

You have been there. You are willing to give your free time to bring you knowledge here. Please stay and overlook the people that put you down.
For every 30 posts about a topic, you might get one that actually speaks some truth and experience.
When you talk about hunting Marco Polo sheep you know what you are talking about. You ACTUALLY did it. I don't second guess anything you say about a hunt.
I know you actually went on the hunt and what you bring to the table is real experience and knowledge.
So many people post on the internet. Few have actually done what you have done.
When a person as experienced as you brings his knowledge to the forum it is awesome.
So please don't leave. Overlook the negative comments and such.
