Well, I must be lucky. I have five Kimbers right now; 2-270s, an 84M Classic and Hunter, 2-30-06s, a Super Grade and a Hunter, and a Varmint in 22-250. All are sub MOA shooters with factory ammo. I have only tried a handload in the 270 Classic and it was all holes touching. I have owned four others, a 270, 30-06, 308 and 6.5 CM which I sold only because the 270 and 06 were 8400s which are much larger in the stocks and replaced them with the 84Ms. Sold the 308 and 6.5 because I just cannot warm up to a short action. Wish I had kept them now. All were sub MOA shooters. One observation though... had a friend with a 7mm-08 Montana that was ready to wrap his around a tree because it wouldn't group. Was used to a one hole accurate Remington 700 and was cussing his new acquisition. On a whim I asked him how he was resting it. He told me he was shooting it out of a Lead Sled. I told him to ditch the sled and rest it front and back on sandbags. The result? Instant sub MOA shooter. The guns are built very light and the barrel harmonics are such that they do not perform well from a Lead Sled and/or a hard surface for a rest. Food for thought. I can't fault any of the Kimbers I have owned. Hope this helps.

Thanks Ted for the clarification. I never looked at the claim closely and thought it was an accuracy guarantee similar to what other companies offer on their rifles. Sure seems like deceptive advertising. Shame on Kimber. Tom Z NRA Life Member

My Kimber Montana 308 with a threaded muzzle was purchased new 4/18. All I did to it was relieve the magazine box so that it did not bind on the receiver when the guard screws were tightened and made sure the front guard screw wasn't too long. It has a Leupold VX3i 2.5x8 scope, Talley mounts, weighs 5lbs 14 oz Difficult to shoot off the bench due to the light weight. 3 shots off the bench are all you get due the pencil barrel heating up before the POI starts to wander. Most importantly, it puts the first shot from a cold, dirty barrel in the same spot every time. Sub MOA with Varget and Barnes 150 and 168 TSX with good velocities. I realize I got lucky in the Kimber lottery and others have had to deal with bad rifles out of the box and poor CS from Kimber. Kimber CS has improved somewhat but is still spotty. If you are put off of Tikas by the issues with the one you have, you might consider a Barrett Fieldcraft or something from Christensen Arms.

that's a standard. find a very skilled shooter and you should get about an inch. i'll just keep on buying my 700$ Bergara's. where I have to work pretty hard at getting them to shoot over an inch,, thanks all the same.

Mounted it and shot it today. Did the “break in” shooting 3 cleaning shooting 3. It is sub moa/Moa and since a lot of groups were 2 touching and one flyer I am pretty sure it can be tightened up more. I was scared to shoot it with all the negative remarks kinda like shooting non banded solids in my old double lol. I like the Mauser action and Winchester safety. Feed and ejects fine. No recoil with brake I heard they shoot better without I’ll try that next. The scope was not top end so may mount up a better one and that may help as well. It is very light. I will lighten trigger as well. 280 AI seems like a great round. Does not shoot as good as my tikka so far but it ejects reliably.... White Mountains Arizona

The way you were shooting that Tikka yesterday you don't need to worry about ejection.
