kudu56They only eat the weak and sick.
More info on what is "really" going on with the wolves and elk. Between the trashing of winter range and over population of preditors, hunting won't ever be the same in our life time.

Steve, they know very well what's going on, the reintrodcution exceded all their dreams and desires, and expectations, plus the side benefit to limit hunting and outdoor activities as we knew them. The carnege excites (arouses) them, as it does guys like brent and IV.

Coyote attack in New Jersey
"As a group of children played in the backyard of a Middletown home, an animal, believed to be one of two or three coyotes that emerged from the woods, ran to and grabbed a 20-month-old boy, township officials said."
"The family managed to scare the animal away, and the toddler was treated at a local hospital for scratches and teeth marks, in what wildlife experts said is probably the first coyote attack on a child in state history."
"After the animal attack Friday off Kings Highway East, near Chapel Hill Road, local officials took a second look at six to eight other recent reported sightings and incidents involving pets that were attacked by what were initially thought to be stray dogs."
Seems to be sheer terror from a 35 pound coyote just doing his job taking the weak. I think relocating a few wolves to keep those bad boys in check would be reasonable. Everyone knows wolves don't attack people and we have some to spare.
