butchloc: I was just thinking of MN bear hunting. I used to do DIY hunts there all the time. I love bear baiting. Then again, I love sitting in a leopard blind too. | |||

pd - they bait a long ways in, they have a cabin by tower and take a logging road in 2 1/2 miles then a 4 wheeler in another 2 miles and the another few hundred yards by foot. took them over 4 hrs to get it out of the woods. must have been somewhere around 550 live weight | |||

Took us about that long to get my daughters dressed 431lb bear out last year. They can be a lot of work. | |||
