"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Those are pretty cool. You ever tried to mount them on a cedar shaft and shoot them? I've always wanted to take a deer with a self bow, a wood arrow and a stone tip. The problem is, the states I hunt in don't allow that type of eqpt.

It would be an interesting thing to try provided it could be done legally.

Really great looking points. I have killed a javelina with a flint tipped arrow and would like to try and kill a whitetail doe with one. Maybe I will work toward that goal for the 2012 season. Would you be interested in selling a half dozen points?

Even the rocks don't last forever.

That is really impressive. I hardly ever comment on kill photos; so when I do, it is pretty impressive to me.

I am in your state right now...colder than I thought it would be.

Thank you all for the compliments.

In TN we can hunt with primitive archery. I have a friend who has taken several deer with his self made bow, arrows and points.

It can be as little as 20 minutes to several hours depending upon the material, style of point and size.

Currently, I am not selling any of my points. However, I plan on making some in the coming months. I will post when I have some for sale. The most common style for modern hunting is the Big Sandy (southeastern point type) like Troy has in his photo.

3 GGrandmother was Choctaw from AR

I'll try and post some more soon.
Good hunting to all this season~
