deer season's over (for me!)

well, opening day (saturday) i shot my best whitetail to date. 150 yard shot with my home-made 98 mauser 30/06, also my first home-built gun. 19" inside 4x4. my friend shot the slightly narrower, heavier horned 5x7 sunday less than 30 yards where i shot mine. it has a forked brow tine and 3 kickers. our best deer ever in this area near my dad's house. we've hunted it for years and only seen 2-3 bucks of this caliber, and never at the right time. the pics are taken at my dad's house, not where we shot them
