Picked up a new Remington 700 ADL in 7mm Remington mag at my local Gander Mountain yesterday. After the current $50.00 rebate I will have only $410.00 in it, including taxes. Stock and scope that come on the package are crap, but for the price I think a decent deal for a new in the box rifle. I will restock with an H-S Precision stock and get a good scope, maybe a Nikon Monarch or a Bushnell Elite. I was curious if it was old stock that Remington had on hand that Gander bought up or what. I called Remington today to check manufacture date. They told me it is 2011 manufacture. Seems that maybe Remington still makes ADL for big chain stores. Lonnie

the adl is to compete with the stevens (savage) 200 line.. cheap stock, deeply discounted, entry level rifle. I got a stevens 270 for $184 walk out... dropped a rifle basix trigger in it, and it shoots GREAT opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Words aren't Murder - Political assassination is MURDER Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? Hmmm really? Ive been looking for an old ADL to make a semi-custom rifle with...I may have to go check it out. Do the new ADL's have the blind floor plate like the old ones? I heal fast and don't scar.

Yes they have the blind magazine, no hinged floor plate like on the BDL's. Lonnie
