All there loads are loaded to the absolute maximum. It's very interesting to see what some or their cartridges can do, like the 8x57, getting 2700 fps with a 200 grain bullet. Forget about the .30-06!

Did you read the WARNING at the bottom of the page.

WARNING

All loads listed on the Hi-Performance and Handgun Hunting and Performance pages must not be used in any firearm that is not deemed safe by a competent gunsmith. These are full house loads and can be extremely hard on firearms not designed for their use. Damage to the firearm and/or shooter may result. If in doubt use the Cowboy Loadings for handguns and Standard Rifle loads for rifles. Please note any warnings located below the calibers on our WebPages. Also follow warning printed on the box. Since CPC has no control over how the ammunition is used or what type of firearm is actually used we extend no guarantees either written or implied to the use of these cartridges.

In looking at some reloading manuals these loads don't seem unreasonable in their velocity..it also doesn't say what barrel length is being used. I am getting higher velocity than any of these loads with the same bullets in an 18 and 18.5" .350 Remington Magnum Ruger 77MKII and a M600 carbine.

But there is nothing that walks North America that will stand up to these loads either..and with Ruger coming out with the 77 MKII All-Weather and the Frontier these will be welcome loads over the one hard to find Winchester 200 grain loading.

You should hear some of Roger Bartsche's loads for his "358 Win short" round. Maybe he'll pipe up.
