.375 " Hölderlin 9,5x68 (R) 8x68S | 9.3 x64 |,375 " Hölderlin .375 " Hölderlin |,375 " Hölderlin R 9.5 x 68 | 9, x 68 R .375 " Hölderlin |,375 " Hölderlin R 9.5 x 68 | 9, x 68 R Worth Lutz Möller, I read with large interest over the 8.5 x 64. I developed even a cartridge. The reasons for it were similar nature. The cartridge in the caliber of,375†originates from the 8 x 68 s and is called,375†Hölderlin. I am unfortunately no correct Computerfreak, have all devices however am internally not ready the use to be understood, therefore still a few data for the emergence of the,375†Hölderlin rimlessly and,375†Hölderlin edge. As the first the idea was a large game cartridge to develop on basis of a German case for conventionally 98er of catches with the achievement of the famous,375 " H&H. The case of the 8x68 offered itself, since it supplied from the area sufficient possibilities and could into 98er be still built. Equal way in addition became from the 6.5x68R an edge cartridge. Triebel built tools. In order to keep the costs low did without I the shoulder to change, speaks to blow out by achievement to increase. In addition the recoil remains more moderate. Depending upon charge the achievement lies between v5 785 to 950 m/s. That corresponds to a e5 from 5.900 to 6,500 joules. Each 98er with sufficient run strength of 7 x 57 - 9.3 x 64 can be changed at small expenditure (,375 " run, cartridge chamber to rub and impact soil and extractor if necessary to regrind. WaiHei C. Otterbein, Thursday, 12 June 2003 22:25 Case interior = 5.65 ml Dear Sir, with interest I read the article over above mentioned cartridge in the DWJ 8/05 read. Question: Are 20 pieces on JJ-light available by these cartridges? Price? Yours sincerely Heinz G. Held .375 " Hölderlin KJG charges Lutz Möller, 10 January 2005. kjg@snafu.de Heym 88 bDoppelbüchse On the IWA 2006 Claus Otterbein presented now also the edge execution of the 9,5x68 or,375 " Hölderlin. Heym assured to build weapons for the Hölderlin. With that 9.5 mm KJG the Hölderlinladung is suited for all game except Dickhäuter until far beyond 240 m. With an appropriate elephant projectile we the double can thereby to the African unit weapon di on everything, simply, all game of the world to be led can. However to have two different projectiles are to be loaded. Lutz Möller, 19. March 2006, kjg@snafu.de 9.5 mm of copper elephant stoppers, 9.5 mm KES with sharp stabilization shoulder The 9.5 mm Elfantenstopper with sharp Stabilsierungsschulter leave before 4,33 g Norma 201 at 4410 bar pressure the 65 cm run with 785 m/s. With 750 m/s goal speed it penetrates 29 cm bone, more than each elephant head us darbietet, or 1.73 m meat. That should be enough by far. What is the difference between the Reeder 378GNR based on the 405 Winchester (and its not even blown out)and this cartridge? I duplicate the 375 H&H velocity "per inch of bbl. length" with my Reeder custom Encore, which has a 12" bbl and 2350 fps with 260/270 gr. bullets, while getting just 2700 fps in my 24" bbl Winchester 70. Gary also has the 416GNR and 458GNR based on a full length blown out 348 Winchester case if something larger is wanted. I'm not sure why someone would go through the trouble and expense to get a cartridge that basically already exists.
