Well I am off to Gunison Colorado this week to hunt elk with Dave Mapes and Quacking Aspen outfitters. I will be usibg the 348 Turnbull which is a variation of the 348 Ackley Improved. I am shooting a 250 grain Barnes original at 2400 FPS in a new Browning 71 and I have mounted a Burris 1.5 X 4 scope on the barrel. The scope has QD bases and I also have iron sights on as well for the closer shots.


I tend to use more than enough gun.

NO fold down flaps just ear muffs.
