| I don't own one, but the Browning A-Bolt Mountain Ti would be just the ticket for any serious backpack hunt like a sheep hunt.
I saw them at the SHOT show and was blown away at the weight....or lack of it! Around 5.5 pounds, camo stock, stainless barrel, titanium reciever. Absolutely perfect in the caliber you choose! |

| Will be hunting Bighorn rams next month with a Ruger Hawkeye allweather 308 with a Leupold 2-7 compact scope total weight of outfit unloaded is 7lbs 7ozs. scope has two dots below the crosshair, first dot is right on at 300 yds. Shooting a handload 160 gr Hornady FTX boattail ahead of 43 gr of IMR 4064..waiting for the breeze to quit, shot a inch and three eights group at 300 yds. Good enough!! Les |
