Played with one of these in .44 Magnum not long after they came out, then traded it off. I have often wondered how practical they are in the field.
Mine had accuracy potential.

likely not as much as a 30 carbine .. i would love the same thing, but with 16" barrel, scant stock, 45 colt, and stainless

I think if we could stock it full length as our upper kin one would make a dandy rifle!!

Yes that would be a very nice little carbine.

Rossi does sell a 16" carbine in 45 Colt as well as 454 Casull.

I understand the front sight is too short on the 357Magnum Ranch Hand. And both rifle & pistol share the same "rough spots" that benefit from a little cleaning up.

These could be fun guns.

Add a rifle stock and your good to go, and its shoots great, but seems you have a flyer on each target..I have an old Win. SRC 94 Trapper that my granddad packed in the Texas Ranger Service, first year of production ser. #2425, and Ive shot deer and elk with it as a kid, and won a bunch of turkeys at iron sight and scope matches with the existing irons on it..It will shoot factor an inch or better for 3 shots off a bench at 100 yards all day long..The then Chief of the Border Patrol in Alpine, Chet Wilson won several thousand dollars in shooting contest with it, I got half of his winnings.
