The 510 GNR is a 500 Linebaugh shortened by a 1/10 in or so. Basically what a 480 ruger is to a 475 Linebaugh. This allows for a reduced load using a 350g bullet or loading up to the 435g bullet for about the same big end as the 500 Linebaugh. The advantage is that the resulting revolver can be a normal sized frame IE Ruger Blackhawk size and not the longer frame required for the max or the S7W 500. Based upon the preformance of my Ult Black Widow, I would suggest that this cal. would handle anything out there. Top end would be 435-450 grain cast at 1300 fps. My suggestion might be to order the 500 Linebaugh chambering and shoot both thru the same gun, although Reeder claims there is little or nor performance difference between the two.

The difference is factory loads and case's are available for the 500 Linebaugh
