Here's my Clements .475 Linebaugh Bisley. It's grips are interesting as they are 1 1/2 piece by Larry Caudill...notice the clean lines on the right side panel of desert ironwood. Sorry for the lack of quality in the pictures. The gun's primary purpose is to be a companion while fly fishing in bear country, and secondary for fun and hunting in the lower 48.

Whitworth,

I just picked it up a week ago. I don't have loads developed for it yet but I did get it to the range today with a box of Hornady factory stuff. I can hold about 3" at 25 yards standing and usually shrink to as good as the gun can do from a rest. I did not have a rest that would not endanger the lanyard ring, so I settled for my own unstableness for now.

I'm targeting a working load around 1050 or 1100 fps with about a 420 grain lead bullet. I may bump that up a bit but really see no need in this short gun.

You may want to try about 14.0 grains of HS-6 behind that 420 grain bullet for close to your desired velocity range.

1 1/2 piece means that the right side grip panel does not have an external fastener. The screw that secures the grips can only be seen from the left panel.
