with a .532 casehead we could make a wildcat case necked to the 510, 500, 475, 458, 45, 44, 41 ect...

you could make a bottle neck 475 to give 475 maximum linebaugh power in a 480 ruger length ect...

at bfr lengths it can reeeely rock on the heavies...

you could do a 500 alaskan esque cart...

a 2.1" version necked to 458 would rock in the bfr or a marlin or best rebate it to 470 and put it into a semi auto like the 50 beowulf!

a imagine a 460 s+w version or a 454 cassul version...

lots to play with there...

The big problem with the new Ruger case is NO RIM. Rims are very useful in revolvers that shoot big heavy loads.
You might want to check out Lee Martins site for BFR wildcats...

The regular BFR in 45-70 offers more recoil potential than most anyone would want. I have loaded cast 405's up to 1750 fps from the 10.5" barrel. They are still controllable, but not fun to shoot anymore.
