Wow - that's an outstanding deal. I love my Colt, but I also have a thing for S&W revolovers. I've got a Model 629 in 4", .357 mag that I love to death. Congrats on your pickup.

Just one... Taurus 444 Ultralight titanium. Awfully light and not really a joy to shoot with full magnum loads, but easy to carry on the hip when I'm in the woods. Loaded w/ snake shot during deer season, it will take care of any creepy crawlies that get a little too close.

Wow - I completely forgot that was your first .44 mag shooting. Now that it's scoped, you REALLY need to see what it's capable of doing. Remind me to pack it next time I'm out your way.

You can count on it lol. I bought a Ruger SRH shortly after that. I miss that gun but I sold it to my bro. He had it chopped and basically copied the Ruger Alaskan design. Looks funny but shoots and carries great. Loved hammering 320 hard casts out of that thing, really grabs your attention.

I need another 44 Frowner

Only three. A 4" Model 29, a 3" double-Magnaported 629 with Fishpaw grips, and a 4.625" Super Blackhawk. But I don't hunt. Someone who does would surely have more.

This thread started as I was purchasing #4, my wife questioned my sanity, but the ruger super blackhawk 5.5" stainless called to me. So that leaves me a 629 6", 629 3", Bisley hunter 7.5", super blackhawk 5.5".

Precisely, I have one S&W 629 but I've got a 6-inch 657 barrel and cylinder to go on it soon. I'll end up with a four-inch 657 that may wear an Aimpoint h-1. The eyes aren't getting any younger sad to say. The Smith should then fit a regular holster. Big Grin

Since my wife is out of town this weekend I decided to see just how many .44 magnums are in the house. Well after the search ended the number came up to 37. I may have missed one or two but I need 7 more. I always wanted to have forty four .44 magnums. Now if the .44 specials were added in I'd have to sell quite a few to drop down to that number.
