Has anyone had experience forming .416 Dakota brass from .404 Jeffery? If so I would appreciate information how it's done. I understand that .416 Dakota brass is either unavailable or very hard to find. Thanks in advance. MMP

Mike, use RUM cases, not 404 -- 20-25 gr of a pistol powder, a good wad( i use a large shotgun patches) and adjust to get better formings .. anneal the cases first. But, call www.qual-cart.com and see if Pete has anything to make from. opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? no problem at all, you'll have to trim the 404 a bit,(to 416 dak length) then run it through the 416 die and fireform it. i don't think i've ever even lost a case. easy caseform to do
