.416 Dakota
Has anyone had experience forming .416 Dakota brass from .404 Jeffery? If so I would appreciate information how it's done. I understand that .416 Dakota brass is either unavailable or very hard to find. Thanks in advance. MMP

Mike,
use RUM cases, not 404 --
20-25 gr of a pistol powder, a good wad( i use a large shotgun patches) and adjust to get better formings ..

anneal the cases first.

But, call www.qual-cart.com and see if Pete has anything to make from.

no problem at all, you'll have to trim the 404 a bit,(to 416 dak length) then run it through the 416 die and fireform it. i don't think i've ever even lost a case. easy caseform to do
