| What cases are you using. Lapua & Norma cases will work with standard 308 / 30'06 shell holders. It is possible that you might have issues with other European brass like Privi ???

| RCBS lists the # 3 shellholder as the correct shellholder for the 9.3x62 along with all 30-06 based cartridges. I have used several European made brands of brass that seemed slightly oversized and very tight in the # 3 shellholder. Using the RCBS # 2 shellholder which is recommended for the 6.5x55 cartridge solves that problem. |

| The problem is likely in the width of the extractor groove rather than in the diameter of the case head. You will often find a narrower extractor groove on some European brass. The solution would be to mill (or simply grind) just a tad off of the face of the shellholder to make its rim engagement a bit thinner. |
