| I used to build my benches, but after a few moves decided to go w/ a steel workbench like Craftsman or, if you have more room, buy a set of cheap kitcheb cabinets & put a laminated top on it. You get a neat work are w/ storage & the cost isn't bad. For ultra cheap, call around to some kitchen contractors & see if they have any old cabinets they have remoed form a house.
