I've looked around and the closest I can find so far is one made by RCBS for a 475 caliber. Would that work for a 470?

a 470 is actually diameeter of 475. Otherwise if you only have a couple to pull, maku yourself an inertia puller by drilling a hole in a 2x2 or the like just big enuf for the 470 case. Put the case in a shellholder, drop it into the hole and hammer away until it pulls

Thanks, Butchloc. Not knowing the actual diameter of a 470, I was surprised to see that RCBS offered a 475 and not a 470, considering the greater popularlity of the latter. Now I realize that they do make exactly what I need.

Sounds like a good approach, Jeffe. I recently sent off an uncharged 470 bullet so that Lee could make me a crimper. Between that and another brain fart I had (forgot to put in a wad) I need to pull a couple of these things. Thanks for a remedy!

I pull them with a 458 collet...just go easy and ease them out. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com
