Boom Stick,
that conversion project is still under analysis. Mine is a 45-60, made by trimming 45-70 to 1.90" or so and fireforming. The 50 is 50-110 brass cut to that same length. It is a pretty cool rifle, but mostly in the "fun to kill tin cans with" category than anything else. A friend has a 50-95 with a shot out barrel, he wants me to go "halfies" on a reamer and redo mine while he puts a liner in his and chambers.
