I really don't know where to post this but bear with me. Most of you know Ken Howell[Designing and Forum Custom Cartridges]. He is in very bad shape in the hospital in AZ. He has a lot of bills mounting up and a raffle fundraiser is in place. Jim Carmichel is donating his personal copy of Ken's book for the raffle. Amazon has a copy for $549. Butch---Ken is a good guy! Went to his home in New Mexico a couple of years ago and visited him for the day (stayed out of town at a motel)and bought a barreled action from him. If anyone deserves help it is him. The conditions he live in there were horrid to say the least  . | |||

This is sad to hear. Several years ago he and a friend came to hunt Rock Chucks for a couple days. I would have bought his gas and motel room just to sit of an evening and listen to him tell stories from his life. Rich | |||
