I really don't know where to post this but bear with me. Most of you know Ken Howell[Designing and Forum Custom Cartridges]. He is in very bad shape in the hospital in AZ. He has a lot of bills mounting up and a raffle fundraiser is in place. Jim Carmichel is donating his personal copy of Ken's book for the raffle. Amazon has a copy for $549. Below is the info:

Carmichel will pen a note on his letterhead to the raffle winner.

Butch---Ken is a good guy! Went to his home in New Mexico a couple of years ago and visited him for the day (stayed out of town at a motel)and bought a barreled action from him. If anyone deserves help it is him. The conditions he live in there were horrid to say the least Frowner.

This is sad to hear. Several years ago he and a friend came to hunt Rock Chucks for a couple days. I would have bought his gas and motel room just to sit of an evening and listen to him tell stories from his life.
