mine is a lifesize 12' grabbing onto a lifesize bushpig. i'd post a pict. but photobucket has my account all messed up. i've seen them both lifesize and rug mounted on wall & floor, european ones just didn't turn my crank at all. regardless of how you do it, it's going take up a lot of room.

I recall a pic of Dave Fulson's croc posted on here awhile back.. Wildlife Gallery mounted it, IIRC..
It was L/S, swimming head-down.. wall mounted as to not take up any floorspace. Looked great.

See if you can dig up the archive. You will like the mount.

I can't locate the picture, but I saw a truly unique mount of a crocodile that utilized just the head, embedded in a plate of brownish plastic (epoxy?) to simulate the croc floating in dirty water with just the top of its head visible. The sheet was made into a coffee table with the head in the centre.

Hard to describe, but it looked much better than it sounds.

505,

I did this one (14') just lying on the floor, Crocs are hard to display and expensive to mount (full). I am building a new room and am going to try and incorporate this one over the top of the bar somehow.

Steve, I had the same idea as fairgame except for your bar. You could build the back of the bar protruding from the wall a little bit then make a sand bar at about a 45 degree angle so your croc can be seen by everyone sitting below.

Kind of like this, but swap the leopard for your croc.

Brush Country had one on display at SCI that was coming out the water to grab a nest-raiding hyena -- pretty cool. I've got a fuzzy picture on my phone and will try to upload it later. Here's their site:
