My wife do not appreciate hunting trophies and what they bring to the interior fittings . So I got a space assigned for my trophies. Half of the garage. Provided that it would not cost anything . So after a few months of hoarding of materials I could get started. I will add pictures as I go.               | ||

Thank you guys! I really appreciate it! I myself am pleased with how it turned out . Although it will be too crowded in the future , for it is a small room. But I have a few small things left to fix. A new door and frame to the opposite side to the white door. And the door linings and an upper shelf to it. I also want to put in downlights above the trophies . // John | |||

you have a much bigger collection, but I can relate to your plight. My first trip was to Zimbabwe, for Cape Buffalo. A couple months later, I got my head and shoulder mount back. Two of my boys helped me get it into the living room while my wife was at work (I got that same income level issue too) and we hung him right over the living room couch about five feet off the floor. It was quite an intense conversation when she walked in the front door and saw him. After two days she tells me it looks great, but it is too much for the living room. I ended up raising the roof about four feet out in my gun room, and everything barely fits out there. I call it my Mancave, but it is more like a grotto... Yours is coming along nicely. Rich | |||

I have the perfect place for my Kudu in the house. In a high staircase to the upper floor. ceiling height of 17 ft . She did not think I was right .... I only have 8 ft . ceiling height in the trophy room . If I was to raise the ceiling there, I would reduce the height of the ceiling in our bedroom, Which is right above . It would have been easier if I married a huntress | |||

Great job. I have 4.1 meter x 3.6 meter room with my trophies, reloading equipment and guns in it. Ever since I put in a recliner and a TV Wifezilla never sees me! You did a good job with the space you had. It looks very nice. I thank God every day my wife is a hunter and likes dead beasts hanging everywhere. About the only places in our house free of portions of big game anatomy are the dining room, kitchen, main bathroom and guests bedroom. The rest of the house looks like a natural history museum. Thank you very much! I think I can squeeze in a buffalo too. But I do not know when the next trip to Africa can become a reality . I have already planned where the Red deer will sit. Next year I will go to Scotland to hunt them . | |||
