Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

David,
It's been a while since I looked at any of your house pictures. I mean that thread over at the "other" site was getting exceptionally long. I have to say that I'm in awe. That is truly a piece of paradise. I'd love see what that bedroom view of yours looks like when one of those notorious storms are blowing in. Also I don't recall you posting that buck from the deck photo before. That is too cool!!! I have taken enough hard-earned animals that I'll take an easy one anyday and appreciate it.

DavidAk, that is an awesome house you got there, also location is out of this world.

I just bought 20 Acers in West Virginia and I am going to build a log home on it. My wife did not want all the wood look on the interior, so I am showing her your photos. I think your home looks great.

I'm not really sure what to add to this thread David but you clearly had a great vision and forward thinking when you chose this location, home style, and layout. This represents exactly what so many of us want and dream of but will simply never have.

Congrats on a beautiful home.
