Well I know that you can't fire a HV cast rifle bullet into water that is close. For example I fired a HV 140 grain 6.5 cast bullet into a tank of water and the water eroded the bullet away leaving me with just a little more then the gas check shank. As I've mentioned before I wish I had a large pool of water that was no more then 1 foot deep and I could stand in the middle of it shooting straight up and watch for the splash.
