Might not be dementia but there's some serious mental issues going on there and if I were you I'd be very careful if you're ever around him. Well it's obvious Joe is being over the top in his usual moronic way. The Laser-Cast 170GC's are a good bullet, I have shot them pushing 2000fps in my Voere 300Win Mag. Two-inch five shot groups at a hundred, but I will confess that the DST's help quite a bit.

+1 on the Laser cast 170 gr, they are about the best commercial .30 cal cast bullet available. If I didn't cast my own I'd be using those. I've used the Laser cast in a couple 30-30s and '06s over the years. They always shot well for me.

Now that that nonsense is over. Can't comment on the 30 caliber Laser Casts but do use their 240 gr in my Winchester 38-55 and they're top notch.
