Were they using gas checks on all those cast bullets that almost made buffaloes extinct? Maybe dipping them in snake oil? BTW Lamar--my .223 wont shoot cast bullets--my .222 and 22-250 both do. The 22-250 was main gun used for jackrabbits. | |||

Well Joe, it's understandable that you continue to bad mouth Cast Boolit Forum as you got booted off. You've gotten your own warnings and time off there yourself. Too many moderators tell what goes on behind closed doors. Let's see now, 2000-2200 fps with cast bullets sans the GC and minute of jack rabbit accuracy and you criticise carpetman1????? At least his claims are quite beliveable. Especially shooting at night, huh. I don't know about Tennessee but in Texas and out where I live "minute of jack rabbit" is a pretty large group!!!! Carpetman1 is not claiming the velocity nor the accuracy at 300 yards or whatever that you claim(ed). Nice to see the bobsy twins are alive and well. Joe should really let his sour mash sit a little longer there in Tennessee.........his spelling and grammer might improve. As to his and 45 2.1s shooting ability; they had more than ample opportunity to show what they could do with several interested individuals......they weaseled out with insults and dumb ass excuses just like they are doing now. I'm sure everyone knows carpetman1's success (moa of jack rabbit at 2000 - 2200 fps with cast sans GCs) is quite doable in the 14" twist barrels he does it with, no real surprise there (well below the RPM threshold with both cartridges Joe, even sans the GCs). Maybe in Tennessee they haven't figured out that moa is a bit smaller than a jack rabbit.........  ......and that's what size groups joe and bob (the twins) really shoot .....that we could all believe  Larry Gibson (aka; "asshole" and "Gibby") | |||

It's also interesting to note when we were arguing over the 6.5 Swede groups I had to have minute of angle or less groups and now I seen you've changed that for carpetman (more to match your lousy shooting and groups) to minute of jack rabbit. BTW; I can't shoot cast at HV? Why joe, why is it both you and bob (the bobsy twins) ignore the fact that I have posted numerous 1.5 moa 10 shot groups at 100 and 200 yards shot with a 311466 out of a .308W at 2600+ fps. AND, I'll gladly shoot that rifle and load with anyone who wants to see it. THAT is something neither of you will do. Many, who have taken my advise, do shoot cast bullets at practical HV with their rifles. With you and bob's advise they just shake their heads after trying and give up........we all know why that is......  No, carpetman1 doesn't need to shoot moa groups (real ones, not the BS you and bob claim) because he doesn't make any BS claims like you and bob do. This last year i've been working for Powder River cartridge Company, representing then at End Of trail, the SASS Convention and just a week ago at the Winter range in Arizona. I also do the R&D for some new Cowboy action loads. Now there are some things that I have told you the gospel truth on. One is that shooting I've done, particularly with all the 6.5's, is true. Another is that I really did try to help you shoot the 6.5 Swede. Another is when I told you there were many that pm'ed me and emailed me about their opinion of you. They still do. I email with quite a few people I met on Castboolits. That includes talking to them on the phone, in addition to actually meeting some of them. I don't know what your problem is with TN, but I can tell you this. I'd much prefer to live here then in the northwest. There is just something the matter with people from your area. Can't put my finger on it, maybe the water? Or perhaps you had a "Deliverance" encounter here in your travels? Sorry I bore you because I find you really interesting. Joe For someone who really bad mouths the Cast Boolit Forum and most everyone on it you sure do seem to pay a lot of attention to it. That's rather moronic of you don't you think? Yup, I sure did take "center stage" after DrB took a very poor back handed slap at me. So what did you and the few other pudits expect? I'm not sure what "go back" means but if you mean DrB got silent it's because I presented facts backed up with actual shooting at high velocity which explained to everyone why DrB's "charted" 2.9 - 3.5" five shot groups were doing so poorly. And "flings" for crying out loud, that sounds like something a valley girl or the Kardashians would come up with. If DrB is so well educated as he claims in ballistics then he could at least use the correct terminology for a "flyer".
