Pair of porkers taken this evening

Took these earlier today -- right at dark, in fact. Took the first at 120 yards, reloaded quickly and popped another just inside of 200 yards as they disappeared over a creek bank.

Bobbie,

You sure have been productive with that little rifle. Congratulations!

You gonna run out of piggies?

Great job Tommy. I really like the looks of that rifle. I have an encore and I just might put something together like it. How long is that barrel?

Larry-

It's 20 1/8th inch. THe forend is a new acquisition from one of the guys on SPecialty Pistols forums (goes by TCDave). It's a wide, flat forend that gives me the ultimate in stability whether I am shooting off bags on the bench or resting off a tree, post, etc.

The forend was a steal at $65. And his delivery time is very, very quick.

No such luck there. In this group, there were 20-25 hogs. They had been completely nocturnal but came out a few minutes too early on that particular day. I'm hoping they make another mistake like that real soon... Big Grin

Bobby, I took a pix of the doe and posted it in the bow hunting forum. The hog was nothing to write home about and I did not take a picture.

I love the Bullberry product. My father has two TCs with 16-17" barrels, one .223 and another in 7x30 Waters. They also did the woodwork, very impressive shop. These are great truck guns.

I also have a Sako 7-08 they did and it is one of my favorites.
