Live OakTinypic
Well Tinypic is shutting down! When it does I'll stop posting pictures! Went to my place last night. About 10:30 this guy showed up. He stayed behind a feeder leg for awhile then jumped out of the pen. Came and gave me a shot. I knew the shot was good because the last thing I saw was fire! No pig in the pen. Looked and knew he did not go far, a lot of lung laying on the ground! Blood lasted only a short ways in the brush, too many spider webs and weeds. I have never seen a rattlesnake much less killed one on this place but others have! Went back this morning with my dog and he found it. Probably 200 pounds. Very puffed up and too far to drag out. So just a cell phone photo and I pulled it further in the brush. I was very careful when I cut it open for the buzzards but not careful enough. Got sprayed with pig crap!! If I don't get worms it will be ok!

Bobby TomekNice! What sort of feeder lights do you use?

Bobby TomekForgot to say: Don't stop posting photos. We enjoy them! Try postimages.org That is what I now use and have been well-pleased. It's free and VERY easy to use.

Live OakI have two 12 volt 10 watt white leds. Solar panel charged battery. I mounted each light on a 10' tee post. Drive the flat part of the tee toward the center of the feeder. You can then use a "U" bolt to hold the flat bracket of the light to the flat of the tee. A photo cell turns em on at dusk and off at dawn. I have tried red, green and white. A black pig is hard to see at 100 yards with red lights! Green is not much better. Deer glow with red but not pigs without white on them! Saw no difference if the light is already on at dusk between the three on pigs coming in! One feeder I have three white lights. Blind is 230 yards off because of the wind and lay of the land. Pigs still show up!

HannayI agree with Bobby - don't stop posting photos. I've been using imgur.com, but tried postimages.org, and it is really easy. I posted some instructions for doing it here:
