Bobby TomekI've never had one done -- never really thought about it till looking at this picture. That looks nice and would be a welcome addition to an outdoor-themed living room or man cave.

crsheltonThe lady that did this for us has done many black bears, but never a pig. It is a wall hanger .

From a few years back........
Went up to fill up feeders and do a little hog huntin'/varmint calling and "get outta Dodge".
Friday at 6:30 pm when I left camp to do a little varmint calling it was 104 degrees F in the shade, according to my digital thermometer. Conseqently I donned my "old white guy camo" which consists of a pair of camo crocs, camo shorts and a brown t-shirt/dew rag. Started calling about 7:15 pm. The first fox came in about three minutes into the sequence. He was on the run. He passed up the call and when he realized what he had done he did a 180 like he was on a rubber band and came back and stopped about 5 ft. past it. Nailed him at 40 yds. with 221 fireball and 50 gr. nosler ballistic tips. I continued calling and about two minutes later another fox was coming down the road. He busted me and went into the brush. I changed the call from a jackrabbit distress to a screaming jack. About 5 minutes later he stuck his head out straight across and about 20 yds from the caller. I nailed him. I then swithched to a grey fox distress and a third came close and started barking. Couldn't see him for about 5 minutes due to high brush and cactus. Finally picked him out with binoculars. Nailed him straight on between the eyes at 50 yds. However as I had on crocs and shorts I did not recover him due to the cactus and briars. Here are the two that I recovered.
Now days I'm much more into just kickin' back!
ya!

Bill/OregonCamo Crocs were part of our "uniform" at Sportsman's Warehouse. Amazing how you can stand on concrete all day in those things and never have a foot complaint. They aren't much use in goathead country though. Found that out the hard way.
Liking these tanned pig hides.

Bill,
If you shoot some pigs and want the hide made into a rug or wall hanger, let me know and I can recommend a taxidermist.

Bill/OregonThanks friend. I have never even seen a feral hog yet, much less shot one. Hope to fix that soon. Got to realizing it has probably been 15 years since I field dressed a head of game -- a mule deer. I have probably forgotten just about all of it. I'll see if I can't scare up a couple of small hogs to practice on.

SGraves155Really like that hog-rug with head attached.
Those Russian hides are neat even without the head.
