pigs got into a corn field on a place i hunt for the first last night. i thought about setting out a couple of pig lights i have and trying to shoot one. does anyone have an idea as to what their reaction would be the first time they turn the light on. they are the green solar pig lights. thanks

If anything clicks on the lights they will jump. I have tried green and red. I just use white but turn them on at dusk and off a daylight. If the angle is right any will work. I had a hard time seeing a black pig ( which most are) under my red lights. Green was not much better.

Never had anything but bad luck with motion activated lights so I use photo-cell controlled white lights at my feeders. On at dark and burn about 4-6 hours depending on how much sunlight they got during the day.

Just an observation, nothing more.

Green or Red lights that are motion activated do not seem to bother pigs as much as "white" lights do.

One thing I have used that has worked for me are Solar Powered yard lioghts, the type that turn on at dark and stay on for a few hours after sunset.

Pigs get used to those and I have had good results with them.

Thanks for posting that link. I had not seen those and right now none of our feeders have lights on them.

I will check into them.
