coldLooking for a Hog outfitter in Tx for a group of 10-20
I am putting togeather a group hog hunt for a bunch of guys and was wondering if anyone could suggest who I should consider looking into for booking. Anyone have good experiences with a certain outfitter with a larger group of say 10 or more? Several of the guys will be Federal Law Enf and will be taking time off to go on this, and thus I want to make it a good experience, we were looking to do a sat and sunday hunt either in oct or nov and would like the the price range to be around 200-400 per person. Again any suggestions or contact info would be great! Please post the link or email me at
Jonesja@mac.com
thanks guys!

Charles_HelmI made some suggestions in
this thread. I do not know if all of them will accommodate 10-20 but I have seen some fairly large groups where I hunt.
I do think that $200 per person for a 2-day hunt is too low, especially when food and lodging are included. $400 may not do it at these places, but I could not say.
Bob in Tx made some recommendations
in this thread as well.

Bob in TX20 hunters is really pushing the envelope almost anywhere. These folks will do 10 and you have the whole ranch:
Stone Creek LinkThe rates are great. You will do your own cooking though.
Good Hunting,

LorenzoCold,
That will be fun even if not all of the members bag a pig !!
As hunting is not just killing, is enjoying the outdoors with friends I am sure you will have a great time. I hope you find a good place for your trip.
10/20 hunters ?? you are not going to hunt them...you are going to battle them !!!

kaprotaCold,
I forwarded your info to a friend who works with one of the biggest ranches near Laredo. They may contact you via email. They host an annual bow/Hog hunt after deer season of 600 hunters. Good Luck, Lee

Ryan Campbell10 hunters is pushing the envelope a bit. However, if you have 3-5 days to hunt with an outfit using dogs you may be able to do it. If you are looking for a place to spot&stalk you shouldn't have any trouble finding a place. I can help you if you are interested. Contact me via my website.
The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.
I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

BOWHUNRYou might check this one out.
http://www.bigwoods.ws We had a group of 10 that went, and there were ten other hunters in camp. It was a good hunt, only 2 out of 20 didn't shoot hogs, however both had the chance. Very nice place and all hogs are free range. It is located approx. 125 miles S.E. of Dallas. Meat is cut and vaccum packed. Meals are included.

eyedocI second bowhunr on his reccommendation of the Big Woods on the Trinity.Been there several times.Lots of hogs, free range, not put and take.Everyone gets opportunities on most trips. They can handle your volume and the have super nice facilities.Package your meat and provide great meals as well.I think the full package rate runs about 425 per person.
We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!
