LorenzoYoung pig from Uruguay
Well, finally I catch the first 2009 pig

I have been paying atention to a small pond sorrounded by big cornfields, I have saw some activity there later so I started to throw some sour corn around the water.
The pond and some pig activity in one of the edges..
Pig track in the shore..
Sour corn used for bait (water, corn and sugar)
I am trying to do the V of victory, doesn't look like a V but never mind

My night hunting rig, remington ADL 700 in 30-06, Zeiss Diavari 2,5-10x50 and one of those scope spotlights used for hunting varmints in the States.

Bobby TomekCongratulations on starting 2009 off right: with a nice hog!

The area you are hunting looks very promising. I bet we'll see a few more photos of hogs you take from there!

SGraves155Is it cool down there this summer?
Nice pig.
We're beginning to get feral hogs all around Ft. Smith in the past 5-10 years. They're only 5- 10 miles from my house this year, and I expect them to be here within the next year.
I like your rifle and spot-light set-up.

LorenzoThanks gentlemen.
Indeed we are in summer and the days have been VERY hot so the small pond has been used by pigs frequently.
That night was cooler than normal because it was windy.
Here is my buddy holding the pig. The "wet" spot in the shoulder was my shot, sometimes I get lucky....

It was a NP 180 grains pill.
