Link to article, I do not have full access to post the whole story.

Former President Donald Trump made a brief visit Thursday to the Capitol Hill offices of a major pro-hunting group.

Trump’s visit to the Safari Club International’s town house came amid a series of Washington events for the candidate hoping to unseat President Joe Biden.

The building is across the street from the National Republican Senatorial Committee’s headquarters, where he met with Senate Republicans before the quick stop at the building the group dubs the “Hunters’ Embassy.”

“President Trump stopped by the Hunters’ Embassy and was eager to thank Safari Club International for representing sportsmen and women worldwide and defending the right to hunt,” Ben Cassidy, Safari Club’s head of government and public affairs, told POLITICO’s E&E News.

No one is saying that Trump is the "Cats Meow" however take a look at who he is running against and which one will you chose.

so Kennedy is a alternative, however, i do not see him as being a player in the '24 election.

so right now your choices are:
A. Kennedy
B. Biden
C. Trump

One is no hunting, one is maybe hunting and the other has children who hunt.

Everyone need to get out and vote for who ever they want. My plan is to vote for the one who has children and grand-children who hunt and fish.

I am voting for my daughter's beagle. He ran in 2020 too and we are hoping for a better run this cycle. He has a number of characteristics that set him apart from the two major party candidates. He is loyal and faithful. He is polite and friendly to strangers. He loves to hunt. He can walk and run without assistance. He has never told a lie. He is way smarter than the current choices too.

Pop has been neutered. As a consequence he is far more faithful than some of the current choices. While paws make him less prone to grabbing genitalia, I will confess that he does enjoy sniffing stuff.

Popeye would welcome your vote. In a tribute to a great President, Teddy Roosevelt, who ran for the Bull Moose party and coined the phrase, walk softly and carry a big stick, as well as Popeye’s recognition of a great dog treat . . . Popeye will be representing the Bully Stick party.

The younger son’s wife Lara is an anti-hunter (shame on Eric…reminds me of Harry with his idiotic wife). Lara got to Trump in that last escapade and caused that screw-up. I believe Don Jr has shown him the light.

Regardless, Trump is being open minded about it now and visiting SCI is proof.

The enemy (all Democrats) hates African hunting. Thus, the potential for support trumps the known hatred of who we are.

Personally, I do not care for Trump. However, I am going to vote for him.

Look at all the insanity that Biden has put on us . The border for example . This ridiculous push of electric vehicles . They are even pushing this with farm equipment and military vehicles . The Afghanistan debacle . The list goes on and on.

I believe he is very much involved in his son’s shenanigans. In addition, he is clearly losing it mentally .

I’ll call my vote a vote against Biden.

Trump's attempt to steal the 2020 election makes him someone that I cannot vote for under any circumstances. I value our Democratic system far too much to cast a vote for someone like Trump.

It makes me wonder why the Republicans in the House did not vote to impeach Biden if the evidence exists that he was involved with Hunter's business. I feel the evidence is not there, if it was I would support impeaching Biden.

The list does indeed go on:

34 felony convictions
convicted in civil court of sexual assault
serial philanderer
draft dodger
multiple bankruptcies
Trumps foreign policy his first term could have been written by an 8th grader.
Attacking our post WWII military alliances
The Doha accord

Trump is not fit for dog catcher, let alone POTUS.

I do not care for Biden but Trump is a straight up criminal.

Ironic that Trump visits SCI yet cannot legally even hold a firearm due to his felon status.

…you will never see an accomplished person from the private sector run again — at least for a long time.

Who in their right mind would subject themselves and family to such?

I have been a hunter and shooter my whole life and earn my living in the gun industry. While I highly value both hunting and my gun rights, I can not support someone who clearly tried to steal the election and is amoral as they come. Trump is a vile individual who's behavior is despicable.

You claim Biden is corrupt, yet the GOP house refused to send the impeachment investigation over to the Senate. I believe that is because a few GOP members of the house still retain a small amount of self respect. If the evidence of corruption exists, why would the GOP not move to impeach?

As far as scourges go, someone who attempts to steal a Presidential election is at the very top of my scourge list. YMMV.

Steve,
You gave a very good description of the Dems and the last election....

I like neither candidate, but history in our young country tells us that people in either party will do anything for "power".

It is common in every culture and every race of folks.

Power corrupts. Money corrupts.

There have been virtually no time periods in human history (starting at 3500 BC or so) where there has been "peace". Some group always wants what someone else has and is willing to convince fools to go fight for it....

Example - USA in Vietnam, Russia in Afghanistan, Japan in China, Germany in Europe.... The list is endless...

Fools fight. Fools chase power and money - all things that do not last and cause more fighting.

If you read the words of Solomon in Ecclesiasties you will see the wisdom of chasing the temporal things...

Trump, Biden, whoever.... are chasing temporal things.

The only real society changes comes first with soul change....

Why live in reality when you can create your own? Trump is clearly the one who attempted to steal the 2020 election.

The GOP is in need of a serious soul change that is for sure.
