I just received a new Safari Press catalog and immediately noticed Buzz's new book is available for purchase this fall. Congratulations to Buzz.

In the description it states, "He (Buzz) is refreshingly honest about his own mistakes and shortcomings and is not afraid to point out clients who could do with some modesty, more skill, or better behavior."

I am hoping he leaves me out and Pray to God that there are no Mankini photos included.

A book is a way more lasting testament than a video, no matter how good the video.
I am eagerly awaiting this.
Who do you suppose will play Buzz when Hollywood comes calling? I’m thinking Rupert Grint for Justin...

Damn I didn't realize he could write... at least that's what Pete said!

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

I am looking forward to reading this book.

However, I hope they have some signed copies that are not leather bound ones that cost $750.00. That's a little much for me.

I assisted Buzz with the editing of his book and the pitfalls of getting it published - it contains wonderful, light-hearted stories and some hard-hitting and honest home-truths. I too look forward to finally seeing it in print.

It was a weak moment of immaturity. I thought about deleting it after I posted then remembered how for lack of a better term scumbag way he treated C and M.

I have not hunted with C and M, but Mr. Charlton has been very polite down right friendly to me. So, I let the pike stand.

I can't imagine anything I want to read more. Buzz is a rock star and a gentleman. If his book matches the quality of the narration he wrote for his videos it will be worthwhile. I can't wait.

I can see the $750 edition at Safari Press, on back order. Any idea where I can find the lower priced option?

In the most recent Safari Press mail catalog I received I believe it listed the 'regular' edition for $85.

Vicki and I just got back Monday from 14 days with Buzz. He told me about the book, so I ordered it when we got back home. The $750 price is a bit steep, but after paying for a leopard and croc safari....! The rains were late this year, and the Dande jesse is still mostly green, and VERY thick. We got to about 25 yards from a young bull elephant before anyone knew it was there. Had a great time.

Matt, didn’t you know the $750 edition comes with a lap dance from Buzz in his mankini? Surely that has to be worth something! rotflmo

As the person responsible for Buzz's involvement with the Mankini ( and one or two other accidental,( but bloody amusing ) pranks, I do hope that Buzz appreciates that whey were all done without malice and that any resulting unsavoury publicity was not of my instigation.
I'm sure that someone of his forgiving nature will have taken my well meaning actions into account when resisting the need to include any personal details in the aforementioned publication, but I have forewarned my Lawyers just in case Eeker

In my view a new $750 book doesn`t come into its own right with a size of only 6x9". Had it been 9x16" The size alone + buffalo leather+ goldsides would have dictated the craftmanship alone would cost money. Its a pleasure to sit with a fullsize book almost Regardsless of the containment where the upperlimit of bookbinding comes to it own. Well I am a sucker to all this african/india hunting book stuff..so I`ll jump on the bandwaggon anyway. :-)
