A week or so before he headed to Chirisa, I was pleasantly suprised by a package on my door.. Inside was a famous "Ernie elephant" will lots of JudgeG luck slathered onto him to help with my hunt that's coming up in 3 weeks and then more importantly, my buff (and possibly another ele or sable to add) hunt in Zim in Oct. Only thing is, Judge had a lapse in his haste to get to Bulawayo and sent TWO Ernies! One needs to go to any other AR member who is headed across the drink this season in search of their trophy of their dreams.. could be a 100lb."er, could be a 2" blue duiker, doesn't matter...the Judge's luck is equally awesome no matter the species.. If you're in need of a bit o' luck, PM me your address and he'll be there in no time..
Please hurry.. I'm battling my 3yr old daughter for ownership of this fuzzy little guy!!! Once she she knew what it was, it was game on!
Thanks guys and good luck to ALL AR members on their hunts and adventures this safari season!
Hey, PM me your address! You can leave him with Karl for me! First I have to make him a proper double rifle (2 pencils and some wood carving and spray paint!)

Scotty, Little Ernest arrived Saturday, safe and sound. I promptly boxed him up in a new "cage" and am forwarding him on to Adam in Georgia. Adam will hunt with Karl prior to my safari, and Karl will babysit Little Ernest until my arrival. Gotta spread the luck around!
PS: I know the daily rate and trophy fees for my hunt...I wonder what a PH gets these days for babysitting????

I think Ernie the Elephant should be pictured with its prey in Africa then sent on to the next lucky guy for a whole album of trophies. Have the gun bearer pack him in. Maybe send the trackers out with him
Biebs, Ernest arrived today safe and sound. He is currently supervising my packing operation while we share a Natty Light. He scoffed at my selection of single malt.....
Thanks!
Adam

He's a bit down on his luck and can't afford anything but a Low Flier. But, that ain't so bad, either.
Since that dang Ernest will be back in Africa before this dang Ernest, I'm going to pour a bit of Famous Grouse over some crushed ice in a short glass, give the little fellow a toast and smoke a cigar. (Biebs, ever see anyone do that in a mustard colored shirt?)
May he bring you all some ivory and stares from the bill collector!
JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.
